Susie Aybar lives in New York. She received a BA in Psychology from Duke University, a BSN from Northeastern University, and an MFA in Creative Writing from Manhattanville College.
She has worked as a freelance writer for several publications including Psych Central and Westchester Senior Voice. She spent many years facilitating writing workshops for people living with cancer and their family members at Gilda’s Club.
Susie’s poetry can be found in The San Pedro River Review, The London Reader, Green Ink Poetry, Speckled Trout Review, Inkwell, and Anti-Heroin Chic. Her fiction and non-fiction have appeared in FlashFlood Journal, Tiny Molecules, and Literary Mama. Her fiction is upcoming in Honeyguide Literary Magazine.
